Kitāb al-Tāwhid (Vol II) is an accomplished work on the creedal beliefs about God. It is the second of a four-part series, working to clarify misconceptions in doctrine and practice. This book is for the Muslim that wants to get a strong foundation with the basics of theology. The most unique feature of Islam is it’s emphasis on Tawheed. That is that Allah is not like his creation. Anything that you could conceive of Allah, then know that Allah is different from his creation in uniqueness. Shaykh does an excellent job bringing important foundational texts that connect the Muslims with classical scholars. Recommended Read for Every Muslim

My copy arrived today and initial thoughts are designed beautifully, the Shaykh Tahir ul Qadri has done a amazing job! The book is a fantastic introduction to the most important and fundamental tenet of Islam – Creed. In Islam, since the Creed is an overarching principle which infuses every action be it simple or complex, the book is suitable for a whole range of individuals from the uninitiated to the scholarly. For me, the main ingredient in this book which contextualizes the Creed for the 21st century in tackling pertinent issues

Truly an excellent introduction on the subject very well written and informative book on a complex and often misunderstood subject. As a researcher volume 1 proved to be insightful and from my initial inspection of volume 2 it looks to tackle key doctrinal differences. My only issue with the book is that A. why has it taken so long to get this into English and B. Publishers should release all four volumes at once! Apart from that, the author has done an incredible job in compiling, categorising and tackling issues around veneration.
